Ashley Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees Welcomes Two New Community Members

Vernal, Utah (November 6, 2023) – Ashley Regional Medical Center announced today that two community members have been selected to serve on the hospital’s Board of Trustees.
“We are excited to welcome Tony Benjamin and Lori Haslem to our Board and know that they will do an outstanding job,” said Allen Parker, Chairman of the Board at Ashley Regional Medical Center. “Both have a deep knowledge of the unique needs of our community and will be great assets to our leadership team, employees and medical staff as we work to make our communities healthier.”
Tony has more than twenty years of experience as a disruptive HR professional at some of Utah’s fastest growing and well-known businesses. He has served as a Board Member on the Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce since 2021. He also serves on the state board of directors for the Utah Society for Human Resource Management (Utah SHRM) where he has managed the Work Elevated Conference (WECon) for the past two years. He has a keen understanding of corporate vision and organizational effectiveness.
“Hospitals are the cornerstone of a healthy community,” said Tony. “I am truly honored to serve on Ashley Regional Medical Center’s Board, and I look forward to working with the other board members and hospital leadership team to explore the growth of services close to home.”
Lori currently serves with the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, the Center for Rural Development. She has experience serving on many Boards including Uintah Basin Association of Governments, Uintah County Economic Development, Vernal Downtown Revitalization and more. Lori is passionate about serving the community. She has in-depth knowledge of community growth and business development.
“Within the Uintah Basin there are many opportunities to support the community,” Lori stated. “I’m excited to work with the Board and ARMC leadership to ascertain the development of even more high-quality care options in the Basin.”
