Volunteers

Organized in 1974, the volunteers at Ashley Regional Medical Center, have been instrumental in helping to provide high quality care to patients and their families.

By offering their time, these individuals are able to assume duties that are equally important to patients and hospital staff alike.

The services are small ones, but for those who are ill, sometimes the comfort of gentle hands and soft voices is vital to the progress of the patients.

The volunteer staff and run the Ashley Regional Gift Shop that carries a variety of stuffed animals, infant clothing, music boxes and other assorted gifts. The gift shop is open daily for the convenience of the patients and visitors.
