Justin Romney Named Chief Financial Officer of Ashley Regional Medical Center

(VERNAL, UT – January 22, 2025) – Ashley Regional Medical Center (ARMC) announced today that Justin Romney has been named chief financial officer (CFO) of ARMC, effective January 6, 2025. Romney joins Ashley Regional Medical Center from Havasu Regional Medical Center, where he served as assistant chief financial officer.

His commitment to patient care, physicians, employees and the community is evident in all that he does, and I know that he will help us further advance our mission of making communities healthier.”
As assistant CFO of Havasu Regional Medical Center, Romney functioned as the right hand of the CFO, executing various CFO functions. He successfully performed a wide range of essential financial projects and duties of a 171-bed facility and led significant improvements through strategic analysis and more streamlined processes and procedures.
“Justin is a great fit for our hospital,” said Allen Parker, chair of ARMC ’s board of trustees. “We have been so impressed with his experience and knowledge, as well as his genuine care for people. We are really looking forward to working with him to lead the hospital forward.”
Justin has served in numerous healthcare and government leadership roles, including Assistant Controller/Interim Controller and Financial Analyst at HRMC; Budget Analyst II at Town of Gilbert, Office of Management & Budget in Gilbert, AZ; and Analyst at Arizona Governor’s Office of Strategic Planning & Budgeting in AZ, to name a few.

Romney holds a master’s degree in public administration from Arizona State University, and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Brigham Young University in Utah.
