The Ashley Regional Birthing Center will continue to be here for you after you leave the hospital with your new baby. Below are a variety of resources that may be helpful as you settle into life with your new baby.
Lactation Assistance
Breastfeeding can be tricky for both you and your baby. Our certified lactation counselors (CLC) are here to help with tips and tricks, and to answer your questions. You do not have to figure this out alone, and there are ways to address a variety of lactation concerns. If you have questions, you can call our CLCs at 435.781.6833.
Post-Partum Support
You will receive a check-in phone call after delivery, to make sure you and your baby are thriving and to answer your questions.
Safe Sleep for Your Baby
We encourage you to learn more about safe sleep for your baby. The website Baby Your Baby provides some safe sleep recommendations.
Maternal Resource Guide
The Utah Department of Health and Human Services provides a helpful Maternal & Infant Health Program Resource Guide that includes childcare and parenting resources, employment and financial assistance as well as food, formula and diapers information and many other resources.
Maternal Mental Health Resources
The Utah Department of Health and Human Services provides a list of Daggett, Duchesne & Uintah County mental health and substance use resources for those needing extra support.
Maternal Warning Signs
If you experience any of the symptoms listed on the urgent maternal warning signs before or after childbirth, contact your provider and seek help right away.
